Our Commitment to Quality:
Rigorous SOPs and Quality Control

At PVN Transformers, we maintain an unwavering commitment to quality, guided by stringent Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and meticulous quality control protocols.

Our manufacturing process is a testament to our dedication to excellence:

  1. Standardized Manufacturing: Each step of the process, from initial manufacturing to final assembly, is standardized and closely monitored for precision.

  2. Coil Inspection: We meticulously examine the wire size and turns of each coil, ensuring adherence to specifications.

  3. Core Assembly Analysis: The no-load losses of the core assembly are assessed before final job assembly.

  4. Post-Ovening Evaluation: Following the ovening stage, we conduct comprehensive testing, including:

    • Vector Group Test: Assessing the current ratio across all phases.

    • Ratio Test: Verifying the voltage ratio between transformer phases.

    • Load Testing: Subjecting the transformer to a 50% load test prior to immersion in the oil tank.

The Final Assembly

The final assembly marks the readiness of the transformer for an extensive series of tests:

  • Full Load Testing: We replicate the initial tests under full load conditions.

  • Neutral Current Test: Ensuring zero current in the neutral phase.

  • Earthing Test: Verifying the effectiveness of earthing.

  • High Voltage Test: Testing the transformer's resilience at voltages up to 27,000 volts — more than double its standard capacity. Our equipment is capable of handling tests up to 60,000 volts!

  • Oil Leakage Test: Checking for any potential oil leaks in the tank.

  • Finishing Checks: Assessing the paint quality and other finishing details.

Along with these we also conduct around 10 more tests before the final inspection to make sure that all our products adhere to the international quality standards.

In the final step, a government official thoroughly examines our transformers, providing an additional layer of assurance. The resulting approval report is shared with our clients, maintaining complete transparency and reinforcing our commitment to delivering products of the highest quality.
